Port Kitchens

Port Kitchens is located inside The Port Workspaces, which is home to a gorgeous 12,500 sq.ft. event venue, The Overlook. The Overlook has an indoors capacity of up to 200 people, and features the Garden Room, which looks onto the Historic Kaiser Center Rooftop Garden, as well as a beautifully restored Interior Bar & Lounge. The Overlook's signature rooftop terrace is Oakland's largest outdoor rooftop venue, which can hold up to 650, and boasts a newly remodeled Rooftop Bar, a perfect foreground to the stunning views of Lake Merritt. Many of our members are preferred food caterers partnered with THE OVERLOOK. A wide variety of events from weddings and birthday parties, to corporate holiday parties and product launches, for groups from 50 to 750 happen throughout the year, and Port Kitchens is in the unique position of being able to pass on catering opportunities to qualified Kitchen Members. Additionally, the venues are available for our members to rent at a discounted rate.
